AIMIA was required to relocate its offices and took the opportunity to create a new “nimble” workspace that had agile work features. The result would allow their staff to work productively and collaboratively within a flexible work environment. With activity based functionality in mind, workstations are equipped with docking stations and fixed monitors, “Find Me” VOiP telephony, and “Follow Me” smart printing. The fitout provides a range of accommodation styles to support collaborative and individual work styles all supported by leading edge technology.
The base building development was still under the control of a head contractor. With the challenge of a single goods lift, and most of the buildings floors undergoing fitout through various other builders, constant communication and collaboration was key to achieving the successful PC for the client.
