University of Sydney – Electrical Engineering

This Design & Construct refurbishment project for the University of Sydney over 4 separate areas included post graduate study areas, academic offices, meeting rooms, research laboratories, student laboratories and research centres. The University’s requirement was to refurbish the areas to create a world class student environment. The modernization of the department included increased lab spaces and improved research environments.

Extensive services upgrades and new installations were delivered under a D & C model on this project.

Of significance was the completely new mechanical services installation. It required the design, supply, installation & commissioning of a completely new chiller, buffer tank, boiler and a range of fan coil units. Chilled water & hot water flow and return pipework was installed to all floors to allow for future building upgrades.
