City of Newcastle
Consolidation of Three Different Buildings
Graphite projects was engaged by the City of Newcastle to deliver the fitout of Levels 1 to 6 at 12 Stewart Avenue, Newcastle West, forming part of the vision for providing an A-Grade commercial office space. The main aim was to address operational barriers and promote an increase in communication and collaboration across the various teams.
Improvements to the working accommodation within the new space allows flexibility in meeting spaces and promotion of a collaborative organisation.
Early Contractor Involvement
Under an ECI-CM contract agreement, Graphite participated in the design development, assisted with cost and value engineering, engaged and coordinated the construction works and acted as a single point of accountability for the fitout works.
Separable Portions
The project was split into 6 Separable Portions including a full office and call centre fitout, Council Chambers, external facade inclusive of external Sky Signage, building services upgrade including mechanical, electrical and AV to be integrated on all 6 levels.
