The Abercrombie Café was designed and built directly with the University of Sydney to service the 20,000 students planned to attend the newly built landmark H70 Business School. The timing of the delivery of this project was critical as it had to be completed before the return of students in February for “O Week”. Spread over two floors, the fitout is complete with hot and cold glass displays on curved stone benches mirrored by a feature multiple tier curved LED lit bulkhead. The Café is supported by the commercial kitchen below which required detailed services, architectural and kitchen equipment co-ordination via shop drawings. This ensured all equipment and finishes complied with stringent Australian Standards requirements and University Guidelines.
