Graphite was engaged by CBRE on behalf of CEB (Corporate Executive Board), an insights and technology company established in 1983 that provided products and services to business leaders. The company was acquired by Gartner shortly after the fitout works began and CEB is now a subsidiary of Gartner.
The works were undertaken in several phases to restack over 200 staff across three refit floors whilst the business activities of CEB remained operationally live at all times. Constant communication, planning and collaborative work methods amongst the project team allowed Graphite to execute works in a timely and non-disruptive manner.
CEB collaborated with Siren Design to implement an activity based working strategy. Staff were provided with height adjustable feature pods, lounges, upholstered booths, hot desks, phone booths and breakout areas with integrated electrical and audio visual services to promote flexibility and collaboration through traditional and wireless technologies specified by Siren and Aston.
The modern design included upholstered and glazed acoustically rated operable walls, perforated set ceilings to member areas, exposed feature ceilings with curved bulkheads to reception areas, vibrant graphics and feature carpet tiles, imported European furniture, elegant joinery and a new interconnecting powdercoated stair between Levels 8 and 9.
